Our Hearts for God

It's February already... few more days before Valentine's Day. And when we talk about Valentine's, we also talk about our hearts. It symbolizes the love we have for our special someones. Right? But above all those persons, God should also have a portion of our hearts. A BIG part to be exact.
"My son, give me your heart and let your eyes keep to my ways.." Proverbs 23:26 [NIV]
God bless everyone!

What's in a Name?

During the biblical times, names always denote something or have a powerful meaning such as Abraham ("father of multitude"), Jacob ("suplanter") and Barnabas ("son of encouragement"). Some of their names were changed by God according to certain events in their lives. A good example would be Saul ("asked of God") whose name was later changed to Paul ("little").

What would God name us based on our character/deeds? "Generous Giver"? "Encourager"? "Reliable"? or might ours be "Slouthful," "Sharp Critic," or "Selfish"?

Whatever our names might have been before we turned to Christ ("sinner or alien"), a new name was given to us when we believed, the name "Christian".

Are we worthy to be called "Christians"?
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12 [KJV]

Does God Exist?

Found this video on youtube:

Also, I read this quote from a magazine:
"The existence of God is the most fundamental truth of all, the basis for faith in everything else."
To God be the Glory!
'The fool has in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; There is no one who does good.' Psalm 14:1 [NASB]
